A Week From Today...

my Parker will be starting kindergarten. Looks like before we know it he will be in college. These 6 years have been wonderful and have really flown by. I have been praying for his teacher and classmates. I know the Lord will put him just where He wants him to be. Neil and I could not have asked for a better first year for Parker. It was simply the best. I hope this next year will be half as good. His little class was the sweetest, and I wish they could go through their school years at PCA together.

Anyone who knows my little guy knows he is ALL boy. On May 5th, I went to pick him up early from school. Marsha brought him to me and said she needed to talk to me about something. I just knew he had gotten in some kind of trouble. She asked if I knew what the Citizenship Award was and that she had chosen Parker to get it. Tears filled my eyes and hers too. My heart was so full. Isn't the Lord amazing? I couldn't have needed that more. He really spoke to me that day. I knew He was telling me to stop worrying about some things and to just trust him because He has it all in his hands.

I will never forget the day I got the letter in the mail. I went to Savannah by myself that day. I cried, prayed and sang praises all the way there. I know without a doubt that was one of the proudest moments of being a mommy when I saw that little fellow get that award.

I hope K5 will be another GrEaT year!
