Splash in the Boro

We are so glad it is summertime! We took the boys to our neighbor's pool on Monday. Parker loved it, and Cooper wanted no part of it. I really hope to get him use to the water soon. Parker loves Splash in the Boro, so we had made plans to go on Tuesday. After seeing Cooper on Monday, Mama most graciously kept Cooper for me to take Parker to the park. We really like that place and average about once a week during the summer. Since Cooper wasn't with us, I wanted this to be Parker's day. Boy did he have fun. He played and swam for about an hour or so, and then it was snack time. He is so much like his daddy. He doesn't forget a thing. So, as we did last year, we had to get dippin' dots and french fries. He was then ready for some more swimming. There are some new things at the park. One is Flowrider, and that was his favorite. He got right on the boogieboard and rode the waves. The line was long, so he only got to do it once. After Splash, we were off to Scoops for some ice cream. He got his favorite superman ice cream, and I got my favorite~ white chocolate covered rice krispie treat. This one was in the shape of an ice cream cone! So glad I got to spend some quality time with Parker.
