Show Us Where You Live

On Kelly's Korner blog, every Friday for the past month or so, you can show off rooms in your house. This past Friday was nurseries. Cooper's room is one of my favorite rooms, so I wanted to share it. Right after I got married, I started collecting rabbits. WOW! That has been 12 years ago. Even though I didn't want a theme for the boys' nurseries, they both were done in rabbits. I couldn't resist. I must say, I really liked both of them. I have pics of Parker's nursery somewhere. I will have to find them and maybe share his nursery too. For once, I can say I wouldn't have done a thing different. :)

For better viewing, click on each picture to enlarge.

This is a corner in his room. I used this same rocker in Parker's nursery too. It has had many hours of rocking. I am not looking forward to not being able to rock Cooper anymore.

I hope you can see the 2 bunny pics here. I LOVE them. They are by Kelly Rightsell. I discovered her when I was pregnant with Parker. I love all of her stuff. I found this little shelf at Target and painted it for his room. The little tile says, " I know the plans I have for you". This is one of my favorite bible verses. By the way, the bunny plate set is a Kelly Rightsell piece too.

This is another corner. I had this little shelf for years and decided to paint it too. The white outfit has his initials and was what he wore home from the hospital.

The pic on top is his crib. It was also Parker's. His initials are over his bed in alternating blue and green. The picture on the bottom is his changing table that is now a dresser. That is his first birthday outfit hanging on the dresser.

I just love these little initials. I found the perfect spot for them under his window.

This sweet painting is hanging on his closet door and his name is over the door.

This rug is in front of his bed. It is one of my favorite things!

Here is a close up of the rocking chair. The blanket was Parker's. The little pillow has "God Bless this Child" and his name and birthdate. I love the little Kelly Rightsell bunny too. Parker has one also.

Last but not least, this is Cooper's one year pic. It is hanging beside his closet. I had this matte for everyone to sign at his first birthday.

Well, that is it. Hope you have enjoyed touring Cooper's room.

OMG! How cute! Can you be my personal decorator? My house still looks like a hotel... after 7 years, still basically empty. I'm hoping Larry will feel sorry for me and come do something over this way.
