Lately, Parker literally walks around with a baseball and glove in his hand. He eats, sleeps and breathes baseball. He told me the other day he wants to be a major league baseball player when he grows up. I told him if that is what he wanted to do, then he could do it. :)
Colossians 3:23 is one of my favorite bible verses for my boys. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart.” I love talking with Parker about certain talents the Lord gives each of us and how we are to use them for him. He enjoys baseball so much, and I hope he will glorify HIM as he grows and continues to play and improve in the game.
I still tell myself every game I am gonna sit there and be quiet. HA! It never happens. I just get way too excited and am too proud (no matter what) of that boy! I have turned into a baseball lovin’ girl! Last night was no exception. I was jumping up and down as he made his 2nd homerun of the season.
