Sometimes..

things don’t go as planned!

Friday afternoon, we left for our annual trip to Orlando. I don’t know about Coop and Neil, but Parker and Mommy were excited. I LOVE going down there, and my week had had some minor bumps, (2 cavities and a crown) so I was really looking very forward to our weekend.

Saturday, Neil got us up bright and early because he couldn’t sleep. Thank goodness, he took the boys with him to eat breakfast and register for his classes. I slept late, and it felt so good. When they got back, they dropped me off at the mall and went to Dick’s Sporting Goods and Bass Pro. It took them all afternoon to do boy stuff, so I had a nice afternoon just looking, eating Panera Bread, sipping on some Starbucks and enjoying myself. Later, we went to Down Town Disney and ate at Planet Hollywood, which is a tradition. Literally, at 10:00 pm we were making memories outside eating ice cream in the FREEZING cold. Saturday was just perfect!

Little did I know what awaited me Sunday morning, an excruciating (to say the least) tooth ache. I could not believe this was happening. Neil went on to class, and the boys and I got out and went to find me some medicine. I knew not much would help, but I was ready to try anything. I literally cried all day long, and I think I called Mama every 30 minutes. Neil got back around 6ish, and I told him we had to leave Monday morning. He told me we could leave then, and I got myself busy packing. The boys were so upset because Monday was our Disney day. For some reason, it wasn’t meant for us to go. My heart was broken.

To make a long story short, I was having a root canal at the time we should have been at Animal Kingdom.

Maybe we can try again sometime in the near future.
